This means a variety of techniques and purpose-made cleaning fluids are needed to clean them thoroughly, carefully and effectively – together with the latest allergy treatments.

I am aware of the fact that many of my clients’ rugs are very precious to them. They may not all be of high value but they may hold fond memories of a holiday, a wedding gift, a family heirloom, or they may just have a certain mystique that you have fallen in love with. You may like the feel of the pure wool or the sheen of a hand knotted silk rug, that’s why I take great care when it comes to cleaning your precious items.

I will pay special attention throughout the cleaning process, emphasizing the all-important stages from dry soil removal, spot and stain removal and the cleaning process through to the all important drying process – this is where most colour migration problems may occur – and on to the final process of hand finishing. This enables me to carry out a thorough deep clean of your beautiful beloved rugs. Once your rug has been cleaned and dried I inspect it and if, for any reason, I am not happy with the clean, I repeat the whole process so that when your rug is returned I know that you will be happy with the final results.

Common Concerns about Rug Cleaning: 

How long will it take to dry? Generally speaking Synthetic rugs can be dry in 1 hour, Wool rich rugs can take 3 to 4 hours to dry fully.

Will you clean my Rug in situ? We can clean your rug in situ or if you prefer we can take it away, clean and dry it and deliver in back.

My Rug was very expensive. Will cleaning damage it? Many Oriental and Persian Rugs are very expensive and require care when cleaning. I am fully trained and have much experience in cleaning delicate items, so they return clean and undamaged.
